Quintet-a-Tete are an exciting new group from London, co-led by trumpeter James Davison (Echoes of Ellington) and trombonist and arranger Callum Au (Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra).

Broadly inspired by the music of the classic 1960s Clark Terry/Bob Brookmeyer Quintet, the band plays a selection of hard-swinging originals and covers of some of the best of the Terry/Brookmeyer repertoire.

The band features the superb rhythm section of Sam Watts (Jason Marsalis); Misha Mullov Abbado (BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist); and Matt Skelton (John Wilson Orchestra).

Expect an evening of joyous, soulful, swinging music, at which you can’t help but smile!
